Karen took the time to know what we wanted and needed in a home and made sure we found it. She was sensitive to our situation as seniors looking to downsize from our large family home of 29 years into something smaller and easier to keep up with but which we could still feel comfortably “at home” in. She helped us know what to do to get our home ready to sell and was spot on in estimating market value and helping us set our listing price which certainly paid off as it sold within a day of being on the market. Karen walked us through the steady stream of virtual paperwork required for both buying and selling and was so patient with our many questions. My home sold on the first day over asking price. I believe that was because of marketing. Ms. Hill had the 120 year-old home professionally photographed so it looked like something out of Architectural Digest. The photos played to all the home’s strengths and folks in the market for an architecturally significant home were captured at first glance. I could not ask for more.

Linda was great to work with when finding/purchasing a home. She had the daunting task of being our eyes as we were unable to view properties in person prior to buying. She often times travelled quite a ways to do virtual showings - sending thorough videos of homes and neighborhoods. This really helped alleviate the concerns we were having about buying from states away. Once we did find a home, there were many repairs that needed to be coordinated with the seller. She was on site for all of the repairs, even the ones that were completed after closing. Closing was also a breeze… in/out in less than 15 minutes.

I was referred to Karen Hill by a former neighbor in Leavenworth. She had used several realtors prior to finding Karen, and I remember her frustrations. Because I was selling my house while I was living out of state, I was worried about how involved she would be, but she did not disappoint. She kept me updated regularly, and quickly responded to any questions or concerns I had. She was a straight shooter when it came to listing price and expectations. She even coordinated with my property manager as well as the tenants in the house to show the property without me having to get involved, which I appreciated. All of the paperwork was done electronically, so I never had to make a trip up there. Leavenworth is hit and miss with quality realtors, but I highly recommend Karen Hill!
